Cost Per Part Calculator
With a general understanding of printable parts, Magnitude delivers to customers a modifiable cost per part calculator for clients to quickly assess the cost benefits and make GO/NOGO decisions of specific parts without working with external parties. Individual aspects of the process will be explained which govern the general price levers that are available to customers with regards to price optimization.
After a general understanding of part screening, clients will learn application-specific challenges in order to assess whether highly demanding applications are possible and what kinds of surface and dimensional requirements can be fulfilled. The process insights section is divided according to application requirements and material possibilities.
Based on experience within Aerospace, Tooling, Motorsport and general manufacturing, clients will review case studies from specific industry applications in order to understand the approach that service bureaus will take in fulfilling part requirements during manufacture.

Given Magnitudes proprietary solution for manufacturing parts with blind areas that typically are not machineable and/or require redesign, we spend additional time sharing with clients examples of geometries that can only be delivered with our solution and the SLM process.
After a general part screening is performed, Magnitude will develop with clients a specific project plan for any chosen application in order to give a hands-on understanding of the AM manufacturing process planning.
Given a defined project plan, and upon customer request, Magnitude connects clients with AM Service bureaus around the world that are experts in their given fields of application and will deliver parts within the scope of the customer requirements.
